Then join us on 26th–27th June 2026 for a weekend of music, friendship and fundraising, all in support of a truly worthwhile cause

Brass for Good brings musicians together for special massed band events in support of Care of Police Survivors (COPS) – helping to rebuild shattered lives after the loss of a loved one in the police service.

Whether you’re an experienced contest player, a community band member, or dusting off your instrument after a break, we’d love you to join us.

You can take part in all of our events or just one – it’s completely up to you. There’s no long-term commitment. Simply sign up for the events that suit you and be part of an unforgettable weekend of music, camaraderie and fundraising. Sign-Up Is Easy

Getting involved couldn’t be simpler. Press the Register button and register for a weekend of fun. There is a small £5 donation for the weekend. Brass for Good is run entirely by volunteers. It takes time, organisation and commitment to bring these events together, and there are essential running costs such as insurance, website hosting, music and administration. Any surplus raised after costs are covered is donated directly to COPS.

Who Can Join?

We welcome: All brass players & percussionists All abilities are welcome , if you can read music and enjoy playing as part of a team, you’ll fit right in.

Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of the weekend.

Useful Info

You will need to arrange your own accommodation. Attendance is at your own risk. If you are taking part in a fell walk as part of the event, you must bring a headtorch and wear appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for mountain conditions. Your safety is important to us, and we want everyone to have an enjoyable and responsible weekend.
