Downshire Brass
We are a massed band brought together by a shared passion for music and a commitment to supporting charitable causes. Many will remember us as the Light the Lakes Massed Band, and we are proud to continue that spirit of unity, community, and purpose.
Our musicians come from a wide range of backgrounds, joining forces to raise funds and awareness for organisations that make a real difference. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to using music as a force for good.

Registration is now open for this year’s event, taking place at locations across Ambleside, as we come together to raise money for the Care of Police Survivors (COPS) charity. Details about the event can be found on Event Information & Get involved pages.
