Final Preparations Underway for Brass for Good Ambleside 2026

Excitement is building as Brass for Good prepares to head to Ambleside for what promises to be another unforgettable weekend of music, friendship and fundraising.

With just days to go, the committee has been busy finalising arrangements, issuing information packs and ensuring participants have all the details they need to make the most of the event.

As with any outdoor activity, particularly those taking place overnight on the fells, participants are reminded that hill walking carries inherent risks and that everyone should take personal responsibility for ensuring they are suitably prepared. Comprehensive guidance has been provided covering clothing, footwear, equipment and safety considerations to help everyone enjoy the event safely.

Brass for Good is proud to be taking part in the wider Light the Lakes event and encourages all participants to familiarise themselves with the information provided by both organisations before travelling.

Above all, this event is about coming together through music, supporting an incredible cause, looking out for one another and creating lasting memories in the beautiful Lake District landscape.

Whether you are joining us at White Platts, climbing Loughrigg or Black Fell, performing in Rothay Park, or simply supporting from afar, we would like to thank everyone for their enthusiasm and support.

We are looking forward to a fantastic weekend of music, camaraderie and fundraising – and we can’t wait to see everyone in Ambleside!

See you in the Lakes! 🎺⛰️
